wifi type is rt7601 or not? V5 only support rt7601.
You can try another version of V5, actually no update for wifi in this version. we have tested our wifi, it works well.

Why do I get "unsupported" when I try to upgrade latest file on Hellobox v5? It shows up on screen from usb stick, however, not recognized.
hellobox V5 firmware only works on hellobox V5 hardware, not works on other hardware

Thank you for your response, l have the exact wifi type you mentioned, what other version of v5 are you talking about, the V5plus, you and l know that this software was not designed for V5plus. I think the designer should work on the wifi update on this software version.

I mean other versions of v5 firmware, you can try. rt7601 is fine on our testing, so I am not sure what is your problem.
2 ways:
1> try another v5 box(if you have) with your wifi, if same issue, maybe software problem, or not, maybe your hardware issue.
2>try another firmware version or another wifi, and see what will happen
